Day 1: Tangier – Chefchaouen
You will start your journey in Tangier and head to Chefchaouen, the famous blue-washed city nestled in the Rif Mountains. Spend the day exploring the charming streets, visiting the Kasbah, and immersing yourself in the unique atmosphere of Chefchaouen.
Day 2: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Fes
Leave Chefchaouen and make your way to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. Explore the well-preserved archaeological site before continuing to Fes, one of Morocco’s most culturally rich cities.
Day 3: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga Camel Trekking
Start your day in Fes and drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Pass by Ifrane, known for its Swiss-like architecture, and Azrou, where you can encounter friendly Barbary macaque monkeys. Continue through the scenic Ziz Valley and reach Erfoud. From there, embark on a camel trek into the mesmerizing dunes of Merzouga, where you will spend the night in a desert camp.
Day 4: Merzouga – Zaida – Meknes
Wake up early to witness the magical sunrise over the sand dunes of Merzouga. After breakfast, leave the desert and drive through Zaida. Continue your journey to the imperial city of Meknes, known for its grand architecture, historical sites, and the famous Bab Mansour gate.
Day 5: Meknes – Rabat
Explore Meknes further, visiting attractions such as the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail and the fascinating Royal Stables. Afterward, continue to Rabat, the capital city of Morocco. Spend the rest of the day exploring Rabat’s historical sites, including the Kasbah of the chelalh, Hassan Tower, and the charming Oudaias Kasbah.
Day 6: Rabat – Tangier
On your last day, take some time to visit any remaining attractions in Rabat that you haven’t seen yet. Then, make your way back to Tangier, where you can catch your return flight or continue your journey.
