Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate
Embark your 6 Days journey from Marrakech to desert and head towards Telouet kasbah after visiting this kasbah of Glaoui we cross the Ounila valley toward Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its fortified village (ksar). Explore the historical architecture and soak in the atmosphere of this unique location. Afterward, continue to Ouarzazate, often referred to as the “Hollywood of Morocco.” Visit film studios, explore the Kasbah Taourirt, and learn about the region’s film industry.
Day 2: Ouarzazate – Skoura – Dades Valley
On the day two of our 6 Days Morocco tour from Marrakech to desert.depart from Ouarzazate and drive to Skoura, a picturesque oasis with beautiful palm groves and traditional kasbahs. Take a leisurely walk and enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings. From Skoura, continue your journey to the Dades Valley. Marvel at the stunning landscapes, including the Dades Gorge, known for its towering rock formations. Enjoy the scenic drive and take in the breathtaking views, overnight in Ddes valley.
Day 3: Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Merzouga
Explore more of the Dades Valley, taking in its natural beauty and unique geological formations. Then, proceed to Todra Gorge, a dramatic canyon with towering cliffs that attract rock climbers and nature enthusiasts. Afterward, make your way to Erfoud, a town known for its fossil industry. Visit fossil shops and learn about the fascinating history of the region, then contune the way to Merzouga desert there you will have camel trekking across the sand duns towards your accommodation there will be a stop for watching the sunset, overnight in the berber camp .
Day 4: Exploring Around Merzouga desert
On this fourth day desert trip, you’ll journey to explore the Sahara area. Merzouga is famous for its towering sand dunes, and it’s where you can experience a true desert adventure. You can go on a camel trek and ride through the dunes to reach Merzouag village. Then visit Ksar khamilia where you can discover the music of Gnaoua, lunch Berber Pizza, After we go stright on to your accommodation in a riad.
Day 5: Merzouga – Zagora
Leave Merzouga and travel towards Zagora, a town located in the Draa Valley. Enjoy the scenic drive through the desert and pass through small villages and palm groves along the way. In Zagora, explore the town and visit attractions such as the Zagora Kasbah and the beautiful Draa River. Immerse yourself in the unique culture and landscapes of this region.
Day 6: Zagora – Marrakech
On the final day, depart from Zagora and make your way back to Marrakech. It’s a long journey, so plan your time accordingly, taking breaks and enjoying the scenic routes. Arriving back in Marrakech, drop off in your accommodation where our 6 days morocco desert tour ends.
